Henry Cepeda Consultant

Henry has been an active member of his credit union since 1964. He began his volunteer service to the credit union and its members in 1968 when he was appointed to the Supervisory Committee and served several years as Chairman until 1978. In 1978 he moved to the Credit review Committee and served several years as Chairman until 1988. In 1988 he was elected to the Board of Directors and held the positions of Treasurer, Vice-Chairman and Chairman until 2007. As Chairman and Executive Committee member, he worked closely with management and other board members to enhance the safety and soundness of the credit union.

Fire Service Resume

1964-1991

Henry Cepeda started his fire service career with the City of Miami in 1964 and has held the positions of; Driver Engineer, Fire Lieutenant, Paramedic, Fire Captain, Fire Inspector, Fire Service Instructor, Assistant Fire Marshal, Fire Emergency Operations Center/Dispatch Coordinator and retired as a Senior Fire Captain.

1993-1999

Henry continued his fire service career with the City of Key by assisting them in the organization of the first Key Biscayne fire department and held the positions of; Station Commander and Deputy Fire Marshal and retired as a Senior Fire Captain

1999-2005

After his retirement he worked for C.A.P. Engineering, Inc. as a Consultant. He held the position of Chief Fire plans examiner and inspector which oversaw new construction for various municipalities in Miami-Dade County, FL.

2005-Present

Cepeda Consulting Co. offers consulting services on Credit Union Directors Training, Duties and Responsibilities as well as Fire Codes, Life Safety Codes and Building Codes.
